The highest hill of the Bohemian Paradise (744 m). The basalthill was much-sought-for from primeval ages as a finding place of precious stones which were used by first hunters for primitive tools. Since the Middle Age agates, jaspers, ametysts and others precious stones have been extracted here on the eastern slope. On the western slope is found so called Moon Valley with two rock overhangs which gave shelter to the first primeval hunters. On the top of hill stays Riegers chalet (meaningful statesman F. L. Rieger was the native of near Semily) for tourists along with a newly built 40 m high viewpoint.
